Brian S. Earthman, MD is a Psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist focusing on adult mental health and substance abuse treatment. Dedicated to ensuring patients experience whole health after treatment, Dr. Earthman’s goal is to guide patients to wellness using a comprehensive treatment approach that includes medication, counseling, lifestyle changes, and Alpha-Stim™ therapy.
Dr. Earthman graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a bachelor's degree in biology. He then attended Texas Tech School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Earthman completed his residency in the department of psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2005. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
Experienced in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment, Dr. Earthman held various positions in his fields before moving to Austin to start his own outpatient practice in 2008 where he still practices today. From 2009 - 2013 Dr. Earthman was an officer of the Austin Psychiatric Society, including one year as President. He also served proudly and honorably as a psychiatrist in the U.S Army Reserves in support of our military service members from 1998 until 2011.
A Texan born and raised, Dr. Earthman enjoys practicing in his native state where he improves the health of his community.
